Hidden within the Scottsdale Civic Mall the many signs can help direct you to Orange Table. We went on a Saturday morning for breakfast and good thing we made a reservation because OT was jamming already at 9:30. We got a table outside and the slight crisp in the air made me eager to fill my tummy with something warm. The waitress was very friendly, though she was swamped she never left us feeling neglected. I enjoyed a coffee as I looked over the menu. I was in a “sweet” versus “salty” mood on this particular morning so I indulged and got the Banana’s Foster French Toast. Holy mouthwatering goodness! The French Toast was hearty and delicious on its own but then add some bananas, pecans and a special whiskey sauce! It did the trick of warming me up…it was decadent! I tried some of my dining partner’s Corn Beef Hash which was oozing with homemade flavors and flashed me back to my childhood. The other item that sticks in my brain is the whole wheat toast. I know you are thinking: HUH? But it was so fresh and flavorful. The seeds lining the crust was a delicious bonus. After breakfast you can make your way out to the Scottsdale Civic Mall. It is a perfect place to take a stroll after a big meal! |
